A 2011 Miracle

It finally happened.



On the very last banking day of 2011,
the IRS deposited our tax refund into our banking account.


After countless hours over the past eight months of Nick making calls, filling out forms, sending and resending and resending paperwork, reading notice after notice stating that the IRS would review our claim within the next 30-60 days, they finally gave us our refund!


Unbelievable.


While I'm very relieved and happy to have finally gotten it (with interest),
I still feel awful for all of the many adoptive families
that are still waiting.
